Public Art

Andy Bellomo has worked on over 40 large-scale community mural projects in the past ten years. She has developed a strong rapport with a number of city agencies, local non-profit organizations, corporations, museums and small businesses, including the Field Museum, the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, and the Chicago Park District. She creates mixed-media public murals using materials such as tile, mirror, stained glass, paint, wood, and cement. Each of her murals is designed and built according to the needs of the community they inhabit. Through her work in Massachusetts, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, Andy has developed skills in design, fabrication and installation. In addition, she has been teaching mural arts to high school students for over 15 years.
